Our Work

Inspiring Change Manchester

Our services were developed by service users, and partners from across the voluntary and public sectors. Together, they identified the barriers that stop people with multiple needs leading fulfilling lives, and designed a programme to combat this. It focuses on providing the right range of services at the right time.

Our main objectives are:

  • Reaching Manchester residents who need us, who are disengaged from services
  • Making sure we can provide the most relevant services, at the right time
  • Identifying the best way to deliver appropriate interventions

How we deliver our services

Inspiring Change Manchester, is commissioned and delivered by Shelter. We also get specialist support from Community Led Initiatives, Back on Track and Self Help Services. We help join all these services together, in partnership with multi-agency programmes in Manchester.

A separate, but integrated GROW Campus (Getting real opportunities of work) enables individuals with lived experience of multiple and complex needs access education, training and employment. People can then develop the tools to lead fulfilling, independent lives in the community. GROW traineeships are paid employment opportunities.
